I am obviously gutted with my latest injury and missing out on an ICC event. At the moment I am spending some time assessing my future and trying to work out what is best for me and the Black Caps.

We didn’t play well, we didn’t adapt to the conditions well… The wicket wasn’t close to what we have played in the three practice games.

Proposed FTP doesn’t provide any window for the IPL which results in an unsustainable amount of cricket on an annual basis for players.

The extent of the challenge ahead of us is very motivating and exciting so we will keep grounded and it will also be a great gauge to see where we are at as a side.

I’m delighted with the quality of the tournament (CT) and the level of cricket that has been played throughout this competition. It has been a huge success.

They (India) took their revenge in their own way. They influenced the umpires to favour New Zealand.

I think people have started to see the real Shane Watson in the last couple of matches. Now that he`s back to full fitness, he`s showing everybody how good he can be.

We are playing at a level which would win us the big games. We look to play best cricket when it matters. We are peaking at the right time for the finals.
