Twenty20 has its place but not on the international stage. I don’t want to see the best players in the world standing there and slogging. Twenty 20 is bastardising the game.

When we lose Ricky Ponting it will be as dramatic an impact as Shane Warne. Ricky`s shoes are massive to fill. He has been a strong man, really positive around the group.

Indian team made a mistake by taking their opponents (Australia) lightly. Overconfidence was the major factor (in the defeat).

I knew the first half hour will be crucial for us but the first 15 minutes proved more than enough. We lost quite a few wickets after that we never really were in the game.

It would be nice to remain number-one. What motivates us is to try and win this series against India. If we do that then the by-product is that we remain the number one team.

It was hurting and disappointing. But we have left everything in the dressing room. We have two more games to go and that`s what count now.

It`s the passion of representing India in international cricket that keep me motivated all the time. It`s always a dream to play for my country. I am absolutely honoured.
