Deep firstly, two out of two, you’ll must be happy?
Absolutely, we got a good start in the tournament. We’ve got a bit of momentum going for us right now, so it’s good.
Was it your batting or your bowling that was responsible for your win?
I think it’s a combination of both. I think we batted well to get 170 plus and then we bowled well to exploit the Delhi batsmen. However, I do think we could have done much better on the field.
You’ll look like a far more improved side since the last season. What are you‘ll doing differently this time around?
For one, we’ve definitely worked harder on all our matches. Now that we’ve all played a fair amount of Twenty20 cricket, we know each other’s game and we know each other’s strengths and weaknesses. We also have a fair idea of what we can do as a team and as individuals. This time around though; we’re definitely more prepared than we were in the other tournaments.
How much will this win affect your morale?
Yeah absolutely, like I said we’ve got momentum going in our favour. We’ll keep doing this; the idea is to be consistent. That’s what we’re aiming for –‘we want to be consistent.’
