Mumbai, May 22: On-screen couple Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori may be at the centre of a controversy regarding their off-screen romance but that does not deter the twosome from raining praises on each other.“We have a fabulous working relationship. I have genuine love and respect for Barbara. She has become very close to our family. If it was not for her, we would have not been able to accomplish the kind of film we have,” said Hrithik about Mori, his co-star from Kites, in an interview to a news channel.
The Indian heartthrob and the Mexican beauty reportedly had an affair while shooting for the film — a claim later refuted by the Roshan family.
But Mori was all praise for Hrithik’s wife Suzanne, who reportedly walked out of the couple’s Mumbai home with their two kids after learning about the alleged affair.
“He has everything people want to have in life. Success, beautiful sons and a beautiful wife. He is always worried about everyone. He is a beautiful human being,” said Mori.
Mori also shared her opinion about on-screen kisses in Bollywood films stating that she failed to understand the brouhaha about them.
“In most films they don’t kiss, they just come together but at the last moment it stops. I was always left wondering why they stopped,” said Mori.
