New Delhi: Having suffered a humiliating defeat against India in the second one-day international played at Nagpur, the visiting Australian team received another huge blow before the third game to be played here on Saturday as strike bowler Brett Lee and all-rounder James Hopes were ruled out.

Both the players, who are yet to recover from their injuries, are a vital part of the Australian squad as the inexperienced line-up suffered a lot at the hands of the home team in the second game.

New South Wales all-rounder Moises Henriques has already joined the Australian squad as a standby player and cover for Hopes and could get his chance to play in tomorrow’s game.

Australia crashed to a humiliating 99-run defeat against Indian in the Nagpur ODI after the home team posted a mammoth 354 on the board, comprehensively outplaying the inexperienced Aussie line-up in every department.
