Asian Cricket CouncilThe Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was formerly known as the Asian Cricket Conference. It came into existance in 1983 and was renamed in 1995. Its main objective is to administor cricket in the Asian region. With its headquaters in Kuala Lumpur, the ACC has 22 members which are divided into several categories.

European Cricket Council
The European Cricket Council (ECC) came into existence in 1997. It took over the workings of English cricket from European Cricket Federation in a big way. Its headquarters are in London and all the meetings take place at the Lord’s cricket ground. It has 38 members which are divided into several categories.

The African Cricket Association (ACA) was founded in the year 1997. Its main task is to monitor all cricketing activities across the African continent. It has 17 members which are divided into several categories.

Americas Cricket Association (ACA) was set up to look into the working of all cricketing activities in North and South America and in the Caribbean. It has 16 member countries which are divided into several categories.

The East-Pacific Cricket Council (EAPCC) is the smallest of all the regional bodies of the ICC. Set up in the year 1999, it has just 10 member countries out of which none has Test status till now. It is supported by Australia and New Zealand, though they are not members of EAPCC.

West Africa Cricket Council
The West Africa Cricket Council (WACC) was terminated in the year 1997. This was due to the formation of the African Cricket Association. The former members of the WACC were Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone
East and Cenral Africa Cricket Council
The East and Central Africa Cricket Association came to a close with the establishment of African Cricket Association (ACA) in 1997. The former members of the Council were Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
